At last, Stef hold her first concert in her motherland aka my motherland too. I not exactly a fan of hers but I do know/like her songs. Especially her first few albums (I do own one of it). As we (Min&Me) were delibrate with our decision to watch, in hoping to strike 4D to cover the cost. However, 4d/toto luck did not shine on us. So, we only decided on yesterday to go ahead to watch it! Though I only bought the tickets yesterday, the seatings were quite good (though it's consider side seats). Well, as we were there to listen, we bought cheapest seats along with nokia 15% discount. As we planned to go early to avoid the jams, we get a good parking lot just near the entrance. Had dinner at Cosy Bar (or Bay). Sat at the lighthouse (3rd storey) to get a good view. Foodwise quite cheap but quantity is okay for me (small eater). But we din get to enjoy the view as long as we liked due to the fact that we are slow eaters and we rushing for TIME. :pConcert started at about 8:30. Started with slow songs e.g. "Kite". As she about to sing the 3rd(i think) song, the guitarist "pluck" a string out of tune at the first chord. Mann...spoil the ambience. Plus a mic problem at a fast song. But as it gets going, everything seems to be smooth sailing. Overall, I enjoyed it as I sang along and certain songs set my thoughts thinking. But I find it abit short (2.5 hr - 5566's was 3hr) cos she has lots of songs. I think she can do even better.
Side track: While watching concert, I received calls. First call looking for "Annie, or Amy" - Baa...WRONG NUMBER Lar. Then SPIN called next. Here's our not so exact dialogue:
Spin: "Helloo...where u"
Me: "Yaa...I'm in concert, Stef's concert"
Spinnee: "Ohh...CAN I ASK U A Question?"
Me: "HAR?"
Spinnee: blahblahblah
(I can't hear and I HAR again, at this time, Min threw me a look. Ops)
Spin: "Do you know WALAWALA upstairs must pay drinks first before go up?"
Me: "I DUNNO.."
Spin: "Can you ask the MR J beside you"
Me: "HAR...I'm Not with HIM"
Spin: "BYE"
I asked Min that Spin's qn. She weren't sure either. I chuckled. Spin is farine...reminded me something...as per extracted from someone

When I'm free, no one looks for me. When I'm not free, calls comes. Not that I mind. I just find it funny. Anyway, it's been a fun day aka 完美的一天

anyway thx for ur help. No need cover charge, but they kinda need to control the number of pple, that's why got q. anyway nice nite. next time we go together? ;)
