It's 3rd day of CNY - I finished almost all my compulsory relative visits. RECAP for myself:
On Eve CNY, had my reunion dinner - help out abit of last min cleaning. Then welcome the GOD OF WEALTH :D Dunno y tis year, the CNY feelin' total gone. Is it becos of the impact of GROWING OLDER?!
Day 1 - I attempted to wake early..10am!!! Must get ready to welcome people to my house. 1st to visit my plc: Mum's ex-boss son & family. Followed by my Bro & family. Tis year he give me angpow w/o saying anything else cos I covered him with my greetings of "GOOD HEALTH, GOOD WEALTH, 4D tonight we share HALF K!" *chuckled* Then waited till noon for my most doted cousin "Prisc" & siblings to come. The first thing she did was to jump onto my nicely don Little Twin Star bed. Must had missed my smell lar. Helped to do nails for her and my mum. I think I will cover this duty every year. Then I get ready to dressed up for Day 1 visit.

Me dressed up abit of retro feel - tsk tsk, and I liked how the dress fitted me well enuff. It is one of my best buy. Don with pearl earrings, pearl necklace, little handbag (mum's wedding bag - age older than me!! almost 40! Happily, went to TPY to visit mum cousin - and finally after waiting for 2 years, I GET TO DRINK aunt's SALTED VEG DUCK SOUP!!! *Shiok* Then went to visit my fav uncle Tan. At that time, Mens AO Final was on the TV. While I glued to the TV with Cousin Tan, uncle tried to make me TALK. Din feel irritated; instead I understand his concern. When I about to leave, he asked abt my dress - saying that I must had bought it from overseas. Waahaa... as usual, my mum will bluff him. Hee. I just smile hard :p Went to AMK to mum's close friend family house. They have the best atmosphere - as kids run around, older people MJ, younger people watch tv/talking/MJII. I guess this is what BIG family differs from my SMALL family.
Day 2 - self recreation day ! I enjoyed it as I get to go out of house and be with my own mate. Luckily din rained as Day 1 did. As we "rot" at our own nest, decided to had seafood dinner. Simply delicious! Enjoyed the sea breeze b4 we head back to our nest again for our "rotting" activity.
Day 3 - I become a panda. Haa Pal came to my house. Shann was so adorable - her greetings were hardly audible (must had pratice too much at home). I gave her an angpow thou I'm not married. I dont care - I'm her GODMA!!! All I hope is for her grow up healthly. I saw her being independent kid despite her little handicap as she tried to put on her socks herself.
12 more days to go - thou lack that CNY feeling as I'd years b4, I still looked 4ward for a gd year and I feel good about it!
