It's 3rd day of CNY - I finished almost all my compulsory relative visits. RECAP for myself:

Since I din wake up on time and I NEED to do some stuff before I go off to work, I decided to take cab. Abit surprised when I saw alot of cars at the carpark. My mind suddenly start to think - WHAT DAY IS TODAY?! The road was busier than usual! Darn, being sick had sort of retart my mind! People are going to the market cos CNY soon! Finally got on a cab, and the driver was telling me how/why he dislike picking customer that just finished marketing. Also talk about seafood topic thruout the journey to office. Haa... and he told me there only one place that just sell crab pincher at Tekka market! If go after 12 pm, maybe cheaper. He gtd that the only place to get. Tsk Tsk.
Arrived in office only hoping to quickly get out of it :) Was wondering IF we EVER get early release!?! (sounds like in "prison" eh) Din do any productive work! Went for a longer lunch at MOS burger and tried the new 20% bigger scallop rice burger. The only 'productive work' was listening to AO Radio for the Women Double. Guezz what, the first ever Chinese won a GRAND SLAM! *poms poms* When I came back from lunch, there were two kams on my desk. I was told it was from my boss's boss aka my ex boss. Waa and also learnt that we can go off at 4:30! Yippee!!! Off I went happily...feeling great that the workday had ended! Till next week! Haa.....C N Y first!!!

I'm happy happy happy! Niki is up, running, eating again! After 04 days of not responding to me, he was happily welcoming me home just now. While my nose are still running, I heard that Pal is sick AGAIN! *haiz* Hope she can recover soon enuff for CNY. Cos the feelin' of being sick sux - can't really do work at all.

Realised that I din buy any new work clothing - so I went for a little shopping and did manage to get a skirt. Feel satisfied with my little shopping - at least went with an objective and get it done! My room is almost 90% packed. All thanks to my greatest mum & great sis - else it take me even longer time :p

I received a pair of pinky socks (to go along with my pinky slippers) to bring it to office. I usually take off my heels/shoes - thou I have a mat on the floor - it still can get cold! Hope I don't get any more cold feet! Haa...

Feelin' odd ydae right after facial. Throat start to have build ups but still I went to eat Laksa :p Right after dinner, I start having colds. Umm...the virus finally hitting me (after fighting it away last month). Had strange dreams - dreamt abt office people (my boss, boss-boss, etc) and aerobics. STRanGE! Auto woke up at 6am. My mind was fighting over to see doc or not. As CNY is around the corner, I give in and raise white flag. So I'm the last soldier to fall in the winter cold. Guess is my body heat causing my throat inflame that leads to running nose and coughing. Woke up sleepyhead J who I told him brieftly I'm running a fever ~ 37.1 but not going to take panadol (the doc asked me if I want, i just @#!@$ NO!!!). Sigh. Or is it becos my pet sick, the owner also sick le. Haiz, Niki is a lazy bum. I have to latch and pull him out of comfort zone to go for dog walk. Ok time to pop in my pills and ko to bed with niki :D Now now now, should I take amoxil ? Yes, No?

My my my JCF is outta - being outsmart by Nic Kiefer. Thou' disappointed that he did not win, I'm happy to catch the match! I really wondered when will be the next time I catch him on TV. *sigh* Oh, AO webby only had 2 pic of his. Really sux - not even a match report or interview of his! SUX!

The weddy dinner on Fri was small but feels comfortable. Shann was there too...immediately recognised me! I'm so happy thou I don't see her that often!!! :D Managed to tease her to eat abit of food - dinno she becomes so picky with food - even pal also dunno why!!!

This morning had a shock at 7am - woke up by Niki and saw him vomit all over!!! Then woke up at 9++ to see him vomit again! He's sick!!! Wondered was it the change of dried food that causes him unwell. He looked listless and only drink water. Sigh, was monitoring his progress. Then, sis wants to bring him to the vet. I do noe that visiting the vet will surface other problems as he's supposingly to be quite old and his coughing since the day I had him. The doctor (dr chan - VERY YOUNG) looks liked Daphne Khoo from SI. She explained what possibly gone wrong with Niki (diagnosed got heart murmur). Spent a bomb as we decided to give him a full checkup(X-ray & blood test (ouch!)). True enuff, his heart is bigger than usual (ave 9.5 his is 11). No babyworms in his blood, his lung and the rest is clear. However, he has heartworm - has to go for 2 days hospitalisation whereby they will give him injections which is supposed to clear the adult worms. She explained that the risk involved as some dog may have bad reaction to it, or the adult worms remains in other parts. Then I asked a realistic qn - how long small dog suppose to live till. As she estimated Niki is 10 years old - and what I know small dog only live till the most to age of 12. I have to really think over - he has to take medication for his heart murmur for life + to cure the heartworms + regular checkups - can he take it? Till now, he still sticking in my room for comfort. *Sigh*

Finally it's Friday - favourite day of the week. This week certainly feel time is super slow as things are back to 5 working days. In another 30 minutes is KO time, and I have to mad rush home, grab some food, get changed for tonight's wedding dinner! Did not expected I'll be invited, but I certainly glad as it's reunion time with the SJAB mates. Had not seen them quite a bit and Pal did try to hint me about my participation level. I'm just being not as close as before. Blah. Anyway I do try to meet up during CNY or XMAS lah.

A few days ago, I did a ratio count of my lady friends that I know before I was 25 ( i.e. since young till uni.) Those that are Married(going to) : Not Married(8 stroke not even 1) => 12 : 6(incl ME) !!!! Few days ago, I spoken to pal about an idea where the dinner will start from 5pm till 8pm (so that can catch sunset by the beach!!!) Haa...must be watch too much Ch8 9pm show. Tsk tsk, it's infectious. Probably I can work on as wedding planner some days? :D

New year is coming - and the topic I dread is going to be bring up again. But I guess I'll know how to answer them. *cross-fingers*

Sigh, spring cleaning time. But I'm only about 15% done. Gasp! I'd to throw old stuff...liked my ECAD notes-almost 10 years old! Wahaa..bagful of "rubbish". I hate dust as it irritate my nose. Bleah. But somehow, cleaning makes me walk down my memory lanes. See some photos, read some cards, magazines & looking at toys...somehow recall almost everything that happened in my life. I'd discovered my best equipment to clean - WET TISSUES!!! Amazingly, just CLEAN & THROW...no more using wet cloth, that can caused skin wrinkled at end of day!

Phunk got his little devilrish wish come true - L. Hew is OUT convincingly. And I got my wish come true as JCF is through to RND3! He will be up against Kiefer next. Hmm, wondered will THEY ever show him on StarSpoRts!*grrrrrrrr*

It isn't in my to-do list for JAN to visit the dentist! He was so happy to see me. (Ya lar, spent a bomb same time last year) Ker ker, if it wasn't for tt bump - I only see him after CNY. But guess not! As suspected, it was a food stuck - and I saw his reaction to my bump. GASP! It's a tiny winy thingy that got stuck and yet it creating havoc. If I'd delayed seeing him, I will repeat what J had few years ago - super big bump! Then dentist told me my wisdom tooth is 100% grown! And I can take it out! OUCH!!! I do agree cos I can feel the "pressure" on my upper teeth. So prob do that after CNY. He also suspected that my below "wisdoms" is causing pressure on my lower teeth. Quite true, while he was cleaning my lower teeth, I can feel "pain". He advised when I'm super free then take it out as requires SURGERY! Waaa...I'm going to perform what Alex did eh who extracted 3 wisdoms at a go - better ask him again (remembered talking to him abt wisdom tooth that time!) :D I called sleepy J and he was right with his suspection abt my bump. Then talked about the wisdom extraction - somehow I convince myself to do it soon since it's claimable :D. As for the bump, now i need to gargle to keep the infection away. Stupid bump!

Before meeting the Douglas family, I just went to browse around. Guess what, I bought my dress (out from nowhere!). And I was first to arrive at the resturant...waiting patiently...at last spotted WEE! At last, Wee is back (last seen 2 yrs ago!!!) And for the first time, I met Stuart and Zack (he is such a cutie! Big big eyes!!!) Awe... I'm so happy!

Then was on the bus home, this blind guy was sitting two seats in front of me. Hmm.. abit surprised why he choosen to sit upstairs. While after RP, he talked loudly asking where the bus is now. Everyone just turned their head, look/stare at him but yet no1 answered. So I replied and got to know exactly which stop he looking for. After two stops, he asked again for the bus location. And I replied "QUEENSWAY" - ops, should be Queenstown!!!! - kena corrected by him. 3 strokes on forehead ^_^'''. Anyway, did tell him his stop was near-ing and he calmly alight the bus. I do feel good helping him though he did not say thank-you. As for the rest of the people on the bus, thumbs down.

Starting from tomorrow, and I'll glue to my TV to catch as much Aus Open. Arrh...please let me see JCF on TV!~

Wee will be back and I'm excited to see Zack! :D

At last, Stef hold her first concert in her motherland aka my motherland too. I not exactly a fan of hers but I do know/like her songs. Especially her first few albums (I do own one of it). As we (Min&Me) were delibrate with our decision to watch, in hoping to strike 4D to cover the cost. However, 4d/toto luck did not shine on us. So, we only decided on yesterday to go ahead to watch it! Though I only bought the tickets yesterday, the seatings were quite good (though it's consider side seats). Well, as we were there to listen, we bought cheapest seats along with nokia 15% discount. As we planned to go early to avoid the jams, we get a good parking lot just near the entrance. Had dinner at Cosy Bar (or Bay). Sat at the lighthouse (3rd storey) to get a good view. Foodwise quite cheap but quantity is okay for me (small eater). But we din get to enjoy the view as long as we liked due to the fact that we are slow eaters and we rushing for TIME. :p
Concert started at about 8:30. Started with slow songs e.g. "Kite". As she about to sing the 3rd(i think) song, the guitarist "pluck" a string out of tune at the first chord. Mann...spoil the ambience. Plus a mic problem at a fast song. But as it gets going, everything seems to be smooth sailing. Overall, I enjoyed it as I sang along and certain songs set my thoughts thinking. But I find it abit short (2.5 hr - 5566's was 3hr) cos she has lots of songs. I think she can do even better.

Side track: While watching concert, I received calls. First call looking for "Annie, or Amy" - Baa...WRONG NUMBER Lar. Then SPIN called next. Here's our not so exact dialogue:

Company got Employee Lunch today where managers serves food to us. But I don't see any of my dept mgrs except for the project mgr who has not kakias. And this year, there's Lucky Draw! 5 Winners got 512mb iPod Shuffle. First winner came from IT but not me. And I started to wonder is it a conspired draw as it seems almost one dept one winner. Colleague suggested maybe there's only 7 names inside the box!

My sister and I are enjoying the peace and freedom! Havoc time! She went to dye her hair red-based. :X And I get my hair fix too! It’s bonding time with Pal. So we went to do our hairs together yesterday. I spent almost 4 hrs on curling & dyeing. Hair has reverted to brown-based and hoping mum will be happy as she often gives me that “look” when I dye my hair. Sis prefer my last copperish colour stating that suited me more. But I better dun play wif fire aka my mom! I'm tempted to post a pic of PAL with those curlers but she threaten to "kill" me if I do it. Haaa!

My horoscope quickie today: “Discard the extras in your life -- clothes, food, toys. They are weighing you down.” So I better start packing! Good day to start with! Haaa….iz…

With someone attempted "suicide" on me with that damm door, my right middle finger kena the most hit. My right hand is still getting over the "shock". Stupid f. door. They should make the "OPEN DOOR SLOWLY" BIGGER and in RED BOLD WORDS instead of white wording in stupid yellow background. Fwaah...

With frustration, I had open my only Xmas gift in office and noticed the kit kat is PINK in colour. Taste? Superb, Yummy and brighten my zombified state. Tried asking exexboss where he bought it from; but apparently his wife got it...and he can't remember.

This came across to me last night in a flash.

I’m a book. If you are willing to open it and bother to read on, it will give you unlimited pages to read. If you decided to leave it open but not reading it, it might just show “The End”. If you had not reading it thoroughly well, you might had skipped that certain pages. I guess this is a life concept. This analogy can be placed in almost anything in life. I’d decided to open up recently and talked about an issue which I’d never thought of telling anyone – cause I lack the courage and my friends may think otherwise of me. Certain point of my life – I feel I had depressions – but it’s not to the extent that I need to see a doctor. I’d once feel snapped and just want to end everything – but it was just a silly thought. I owe my life to my parents. My best pal was calm when I felt despaired at that time. Her first words were, “Think about your parents. IS it worth it?”.Pal became the one that shook me up. I used to be the calmer one in twice occasions I’d played that role on her. She had moved on to her motherly stage, the next chapter of hers. Does that make us change of our roles?

I finally told my sister how snapped I’d been – the kind of stress which I can’t take it. I am hoping for comfort that my family does not add on any more burdens to my well of stresses. And yes, it helps to open up and talking things through different channels and listening from different view points. I’m lucky; my friends are concerned about my well being and I’m radiating from the love and care showered. Do friends have any boundaries? They are like books to me too. I may read it. And most of them are interesting stuff :)

Enuff said, these are my inner thoughts for the start of the year. I’m a chim book, m not?

I'm enjoying my iPod now now now... Just transferred 100 songs over which I'd added album art and making sure I'm having the right songs with the right title, right artist. I'd been visiting www.apple.com.sg for support and "clothing" almost everyday! Tsk Tsk Tsk.
Going to figure out how to play "video" next. Hiak Hiak Hiak...

Just downloaded the manual..there's so much to learn!!! Yippee...

Before I forget - HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL & MYSELF!!! Though it's the 4th day of the year, I'd lotsa things to do, and I need to set my agenda for the month!!! 25 days more to Chinese New Year and 3 more wkends to it - so top on the list are the most important:

• PACK MY ROOM! (major major major)
• Wardrobe packing again - need to dump old clothes
  
• Getting my iPod JD Ready and "clothed" it! <-- DONE ON 09 Jan!!!
• Dig China Photos out and get it re-develop before I see my Uncle Tan during new year ah!
• Get another pair of shoes using Charles n Keith Voucher
• One more DRESS for new year (and i'm ready!) <-- DONE ON 16 Jan!!!
• Hair Fix <-- DONE ON 10 Jan!!!
• Hong Kong Video!
• Fix that old PC and teleport to sis room (blocking my way!)

So I'm gonna get all the above done done done! *Argh*

Things that I'd done:

• Pay bills and more bills (amazingly did that in a day - stupid starhub cut my mum's line, that shows how lapse I am)
• Got my "black"tooth and managed to get bluetooth on laptop too!
• Coiled that stupid network long cable
• Prepared 50 songs to load to my iPod JD
• Work related - I'd wash hand today in Golden Basin - it's 2 month timesup! I was told I'd been too kind so now I'd to act tough
  
• Started REALLY working and finished a script ready to be trial tested tomorrow!
  

I'm happy seeing with what I'd done done done too.
