The alarm tried to wake me up since 6:55 till 7:15am. As usual, I tried to catch a few more winks. Then I finally decided, "OK I should wake up NOW!". Eyes opened - but how come my right eye is not opening?! A look into mirror - to my horror, my right eye was swollen terribly!! I looked like I got bash'd up in the eye. I dun rem rubbing my eyes while I'm asleep O.o I know I have no chance to go to work at this state. I used the eye bath, then thinking maybe I sleep awhile more it will go away...how naive :D. But it did get abit better as the right eye can slightly open, so decided to visit the doc soonest as I noticed the whites looks 'jelly' to me. But visiting the GP din help much, in fact the GP was more worried than me. I hv no known allergy, din take any medications prior night, my vision still ok. So instead, he refer me to see eye doc. Initially wanted to visit the govt doc but it was a noon appt and the GP prefer me to go soonest possible. Otherwise he wud give me a jab first but I refused it. So final decision is to see a private doc & fork out the fee from my own pocket. But the private doc visit was worth it - cos I do feel more comfortable after he cleaned the eye. Mine was eyelid infection (not the initial guess of allergy). Duhz..*ponder hard* What did I do to my eyes!!? The puffiness and swelling had gone down alot. But I shall rest the next 2 days!

These 2 months had not been great. I paid my own thyroid lab tests & eye doc. I had been paying by my own pocket due to company policy of not covering own GP referral. It's a good prompt for me to find a new job that covers medical well. Din't realise it's importance till now!!!
